A NOTE FROM THE DEP:
Thank you to everyone who has helped make the septic upgrade program a success. At the current program participation rate, we estimate that the septic upgrade program will be out of funds for this fiscal year on or before April 17, 2020. The program will continue to authorize work with priority given to conventional septic systems that require repair until the funding is exhausted, at which time the program will be suspended until additional funding is finalized. At this time, we anticipate that new funding will be available sometime after the start of the new fiscal year which begins on July 1, 2020.
