Industry Networking:
FOWA activities provide important opportunities for networking with other industry professionals. Education meetings and visiting the convention provides members with a chance to develop friendships and gain new contacts with colleagues.

Government Relations:
FOWA retains a full time lobbyist to monitor and sponsor legislation during the annual state legislative session, and to work closely with governmental agencies that affect the onsite wastewater industry.

Training:
All onsite contractors are required to take 12 hours of training every year and every Master Contractor needs 18 hours. FOWA offers classes at our training center and at convenient locations throughout Florida. As a member you can take the classes at a discount price. Classes at our annual Convention & Buyers Show offer members the best value.

Public Relations:
FOWA on a daily basis, promotes and protects the onsite wastewater industry. We communicate with the news media, governmental agencies, and other organizations that relate to the onsite wastewater industry, providing the benefits of onsite systems.

Communications:
Members are provided with the latest industry information and updates through The Voice publication, which comes out 10 times a year. This publication gives members all the information they need form the newest innovations to what training is offered at any particular time. We also publish an annual Membership Directory and Buyer's guide.
